In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cullather Brain Tumor QOL Center, 5875 Bremo Rd., MOBS, Suite 108, Richmond, Va. 23226

Would be nice to see this Brain Tumor center get some donations because of Trump...

Nice touch, but whoever or whatever set the type for this obituary should have aided the old man by inserting paragraphs. It’s hard to swim all the way down into that tall dark monolith of copy w/o any sun to light the way.

Otherwise, good for The Donald and we who plan to vote for him (or Ted).

That is a nice thought, but in today’s world he’ll still be voting for Democrats in the fall. Death is not an obstacle to being a Democrat voter!

No offense to you nor any OTHER commentator ... but we are experiencing history in the making !

I know for a fact that Donald Trump has affected (INfected?) the political process of other nations as well as our own

NEVER, has there been an electoral cycle that had only one candidate ... in the USA

I have no idea who Ernest was, but he was obviously engaged enough in the electoral process enough to WANT to have this in his obit ... and a family EQUALLY engaged to honor his request

All the smart alec comments aside ... we are in for one wild, AMERICAN ride !

“Support from the grave?...I guess the Democrats are switching over....”

Yep, surprised Trump’s support is this ‘deep’ from the Dems, so it’s looking like a MAJOR BLOWOUT in November.

My grandmother passed at 7:45 this morning. There will be no encouragement to vote for anyone.

It wasn’t a big surprise. The family has been taking turns waiting.

She died in her sleep in her own bed surrounded by family. Can’t really ask for more than that.

94 years old. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer nearly 7 years ago

Can’t really complain. She was only bedridden for about the last week. We had Christmas at her house and she went to the midnight service at the church on Christmas eve. She only needed full time help for about the last 3 months.

I was out there the other day. She couldn’t speak but she happy to hear the local gossip.
