I’m kinda surprised that Jake Tapper pursued this line of questioning against Ted Cruz, but he hit it out of the park.
Watch below:
Ted Cruz dismisses citizenship 'swamp theories' (Video)
It really is ridiculous and it’s not surprising that his opponents are pushing this issue when he is winning in Iowa.

Ya, that’s the right approach. Ignore it or make fun of the people asking questions, then just hope it all goes away.

It’s all very reminiscent of another candidate whose eligibility was questioned . . .

Or blast out ridiculous charges and pretend you had nothing to do with it.

Yo Trumpkin, it went away yesterday when he produced his mother’s birth certificate and the Candian Electors list. What else do you want him to do?

I wonder if Cruz would have the cajones to use, as a symbol, what his name means in English?
To: JoSixChip
The ones making the accusation should be the ones filing suit, petitioning election boards and putting forth proof of their allegations. Then Ted can offer proof in rebuttal.
He’s already produced his birth certificate and his mother’s. Anything else can be addressed at the right time in the right forum, not in the media.

I’ve been supportive of Cruz and would vote for him if he’s the nominee, despite leaning more Trump. I have given a lot of thought to the matter and believe that there are scenarios under which he can be eligible. However, being so dismissive of this is somewhat disturbing. We have, in 2008, an example of great lengths being gone to regarding eligibility for McCain, born abroad to two citizen parents. We also have Obama, born in Hawaii to a citizen mother an an alien father, that engendered quite a bit of controversy that lingers to this day. Now, we have a candidate born abroad to a citizen mother and an alien father. There are questions and doubts, and rightfully so. Can Cruz be deemed eligible? I believe so, if there are no legitimate claims upon him from any foreign jurisdiction. That has not been determined, though, and all the flippant dismissals in the world won’t change it if the matter is pursued by a party with standing to do so.

He would easily win on summary judgment. The clowns hounding him now are scared that he is the best candidate and that he is moving up rapidly.

Prove that his father was a US citizen at the time of his birth..(What!..Oh!..look over there!).
Everyone is hung up on Mom’s citizenship as being the smoking gun..she was a citizen all along..non-issue.
The citizenship of the father is also a player, as is the place of birth...

Ya, that's the right approach. Ignore it or make fun of the people asking questions, then just hope it all goes away FYI: This website supports tea party constitutionalist Ted Cruz for president to the hilt. Those who join with the libs, RINOS and GOP-e to openly work against us on this will be considered our political foe and will be treated accordingly. FR will not be used to harm his chances. Take your birther trolling elsewhere.

The good thing about this is that Trump is introducing Cruz to a wider segment of the populace, otherwise known as the lofos.
At the next debate, people will be anticipating a deathmatch between Trump and Cruz. They will be standing side by side.
They will see Cruz as presidential and Trump as... Trump.

Jake Tapper is a progressive. He doesn’t want Ted Cruz or any other Republican to be President.

Ignore it and make fun of people — just like Obama successfully did and does. So, it seems, this is way to make the constitution go away. I'm sorry to say, but clearly, Cruz, like Obama, Jindahl, and Rubio are not eligible. But it seems this does not matter anymore. We, the people, can decide it does matter, whether it is a guy we like, or one we don't. We should not vote for any one who does not meet Article II, Section 1, Clause 5, eligibility requirements. We ignored the question of Obama’s citizenship to our peril. Let us not make that mistake ever ever again! Let us never again elect a president who does not have 2 citizen parents and who was not born on American soil (with the sole exception if the parents are overseas in the defense of our country.) If we ignore this issue, we legitimate Obama, and we will see further and further erosion of the constitution on this issue and every other issue. The next step I suppose will be allowing naturalized citizens to be president, then 18-year-olds to be president, and ultimately people who never stepped foot in this country to be president; he/she can just be president because he is a great person and a bunch of people with no real loyalty to this country, who came here, likely illegally, want this, or else this non-citizen can be president because our side thinks he is such a great constitution lover and will fix things. Now, is time to stop this, for the sake of our future generations. Are we, or are we not, a sovereign people with a national identity?

I’m concerned about Cruz wanting to “Spank” Hillary.
Hillary should be in jail, not spanked.
