When I was young, a friend of mine had a job in CL and lived in Mason City. I went there often. He knew the farmer that owned that field and they guy said he had a box in his barn of debris that came up every year during field preparation. I tried to get my friend to buy the box of scrap so we could cast pieces in lucite and run ads in Rolling Stone. He dragged his feet, time passed and he moved on.
What can I say? I was young, callous and needed money. Good thing it didn’t work out.
