I too wish to be rid of them but it not at the expense of getting Obama. We would have been better off if Hillary had won. They are corrupt, lazy, moral sleezebags but Bill is not a prog beleiver, though Hilliary may be close to a true believer, she is tempered by Bill’s overriding political pragmatism.

Obama is a true believer. He has been very successful and second only to Lyndon Johnson (or maybe FDR) in remaking our country into prog dream come true.

For those FReepers who keep asking how SC keeps electing a treacherous nitwit like LG-- this should explain it. And it is particularly distressing to see Haley and Scott, put in power by the people's Tea Oarty, acquiescing to the corrupt establishment. The SC GOP has finagled the primaries to keep LG in office---unknown republican primary candidate, name I can't remember, got 30% of the vote against Lindsey once. So the estab joins forces with the Harpootlian Dems to dilute and disenfranchise conservatives in SC.

We should have created the Republican Conservative Party.

I wish GW would get involved for his little brother in SC because that would be an even bigger embarrassment for Yeb; even his brother couldn’t bail him out. Nobody shives a git what GW thinks, says or does. He just another Bush “has-been” who left our Economy in worse shape than when he took office.
