Yeah, we used to bike out there. Kingsessing too. We visited a few years ago and the street where they lived (50 years ago), had a guard at one end of the street and a guard at the other. Drug deal heaven. Man, did we get the eyeballs. Scary. Burned out homes and bad dudes. You go to Penn?

My grandad used to visit relatives in Philly in the 1940s-1950s. He is dead, and the America of then is too. My city (Pittsburgh) used to have many nice blue collar areas which are now mostly black and full of crime.

Sources say the suspect’s full confession of the alleged attack was written down and recorded on video.
Police sources identify the suspect as Edward Archer, of Yeadon.

The perp’s birth name is Edward Archer of Yeadon, Pennsylvania. The media so far is not giving out his legal name - which is something else.
Update, 11:15 AM EST: Philly.com reports the shooter has been identified as Edward Archer, 30, of Yeadon.
Update, 1:15 PM: According to Commissioner Ross, the attacker pledged allegiance to the Islamic State.
Also, the gun used in the attack was reportedly stolen, which will be bad news for those who were frantically looking for a way to fold the incident into their gun-control narratives.
