Someone remind me: isn't there a term for people with this sort of fixation? Joe Scarborough just can't stop looking at and talking about Marco Rubio's footwear, ever since a photo recently appeared of Rubio sporting a pair of boots.
On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough repeatedly circled back to the subject, managing to work it into a number of conversations. For example, when Mika Brzezinski cited a report that Rubio has shifted his message from optimism to "doom," Scarborough jumped in: "what? Did he break a heel?"

What’s the big deal? .... there is only one question to ask ... do they sell men’s boots at the store you bought them at?
For years I've always said things like "Joe Scarborough tripped over her skirt" and so on.....who knew I was onto something?

I think Rubio is a dishonest person, hungry for war powers, and unfit for the Presidency. I don’t care about his boots. I would not have picked them for a man, but they look fine on him. He probably just wanted to look taller. So what! I like their shine.
LOL to post 3. That is true. I would probably wear them. My husband would not have. Still, they do look fine on Rubio. I really do not care that much about another person’s shoe choice.

Scarborough is a bit of an odd duck anyway.
Look like “Beatle boots” to me... I like the style, but probably not on a politician.
Yeah I was thinking that too, he probably wants to look a couple inches taller standing next to tall guys like Trump, Cruz, and Yeb.
Adds and extra two or three inches to his height...and he may have lifts inside them too. So maybe he’s got a 5 or 6 inch height increase going on with those things.

Heard on Glen Beck’s radio this AM he and the group talking about the Scarborough “fascination” and Beck said that Scarborough “hates” Rubio, and that this “hatred” goes way back years in FL politics. Just repeating what I heard.
I’m still flabbergasted at Bush standing on his tip toes. If that is not the “height” of insecurity, then what is in today’s world of politics! Feeling that it was something he needed to do is very “telling” about Jeb. And it’s not pretty!
