This should be part of the vetting process for every Presidential candidate. Trump is right for bringing it up.

Trump is right, again. You can bet if Cruz wins the election the RATS will have this tied up in court for the next 20 years ultimately giving King Obama indefinite reign. Or the Supremes decide quickly that NBC does indeed mean born on US soil and of TWO US citizen parents (SR511) and crowns Hillary. Cruz will not get anywhere near the swearing in ceremony.

I think it should be looked into now, too. Settle it once and for all now, not later.

Amazingly to me, if an illegal alien has a child in this country , there doesn't seem to be much doubt that the child is a US citizen, even though its parents are not, and they don't belong in this country.

But, when you get to people born of a US citizen mother in another country there is such disagreement about the eligibility of the person to seek the presidency.

The Supreme Court is going to have to iron out these problems and set the standards.

Eventually anchor babies will run for president, and so will other people who were born outside this country like Ted Cruz.

We should have understandable guidelines for eligibility. -Tom

I agree. Republicans/conservatives brought this on themselves when so they questioned Obama’s eligibility. To be logically consistent they have to question Cruz’s also. If they refuse to do that they look like the Obama defenders they criticized. That is the “very precarious” position Trump was talking about.
