500 million causes ticket sales to soar because a mere 50 or 100 million is just not worth the effort

When I win, I’m going to buy the Kardashians and lock them in a remote subterranean cage forever.

LOL, my brother and I think that everytime. Like 20M won’t change the normal person’s life forever (good or bad).

Where I work whenever the jackpot gets over 300 million we do a lottery pool, because that’s enough that even split 30 ways we’d all get FU money. at 50 million once the taxes are out we’d all get “more comfortable but still need to go to work” money which isn’t nearly as exciting.

I think at some point the top prize has limited growth and the ‘overflow’ goes into the lower prizes.
After taxes, you bring home about a third of the stated prize (with the one time payout.). Not bad for a trip to the gas station.

If I win the jackpot, I’ll buy the White House and evict the current occupants.
To: NRx
If I won that, I could pay most of my bills.

If I win I’ll buy a house on the gulf coast of Florida. On the water, with a nice dock.
We have relatives and friends there.
