The leader of the self-styled Oregon militia compared himself to civil-rights activist Rosa Parks.
Ammon Bundy, the man who has emerged as the leader of a group that has engaged in an armed occupation of a wildlife refuge in eastern Oregon, tweeted that he and his group were doing exactly what Parks once did.
"We are doing the same thing as Rosa Parks did. We are standing up against bad laws which dehumanize us and destroy our freedom," he wrote in a tweet posted early Wednesday morning.

I don’t know the details of this case, but my advice to them - don’t compare yourself to anybody.
Declare you want simple justice and cite specific reasons, and point out how a corrupt government and officialdom have failed miserably.
Americans will hear that.

People, Ammon Bundy is not operating a twitter account. I stood with him last night as tweets supposedly from him went out.
Rosa Parks was a racist communist who sought to destroy America.
We know that now.
The element not expressed in this situation is the lapse of the Constitutional defense of jury nullification. It is the step before citizens pick up arms to roust a non-responsive government from their offices. Jury nullification allows citizens to find parties not guilty if a law has been applied to someone who has been ‘singled out’ for persecution instead of prosecution. In the absence of due process (equal access to legal consideration) a jury may overrule the court and find a ‘not guilty’ verdict. Applying a ‘terrorist act’ to management of land certainly falls within that purview.
And not smart enough to do what she did with out someone coaching her.
