This explains a lot

Especially when viewed in context with Obama’s Iranian Nuclear deal.

With access to a fusion device, uranium enrichment becomes less critical (especially when you can get some from the N Koreans) , but the economic power to build an arsenal of fusion weapons and the ballistic missile delivery systems suddenly becomes paramount.

BTW, most of the nuclear tech controlled in the Obama Iranian Nuclear Agreement was geared to restricting fission weapons, not fusion weapons and all the dual use technology Obama expressly agreed to provide to Iran is ominous in the context of a fusion device.

And the dropping of Iranian sanctions combined with the release of the 150 Billion provides Iran with 150 Billion dollars of economic aid to deploy it's hydrogen bomb tipped ballistic missile arsenal, almost total freedom to buy what it needs on the world market due to the dropping of Iran's nuclear technology embargo, and the economic normalization and lifting of trade sanctions gives the Iranian economy the economic strength to allow Iran to afford to pursue it's nuclear proliferation goals without imploding the up till now on the ropes Iranian economy.
