There was a 5.1 magnitude quake in North Korea today. It seems to fit.

So you assume that Iran doesn’t have this technology?

Seriously?

No, even the original H-bombs were driven (ignited, and then fueled by a “conventional” Pu or U235 A-bomb. Exploded at ground level, the dust and debris blown up IS radioactive and DOES contaminate wider areas around the blast zone than a air-dropped A-bomb or H-bomb that explodes up above 15,000 - 20,000 feet altitude.

That’s why they thought A-bomb anti-aircraft missile would be effective. Blow ‘em up high enough, and the contamination is minimized, and is blown away from the target - maybe out to sea to the east.

There was a 5.1 magnitude quake in North Korea today. It seems to fit.

If they can pick up a radiation burst that coresponds to the quake, then maybe the Norks finally figured out how to make an A-bomb.

They did NOT detonate a Hydrogen bomb.

YAHOO COMMENT

NEVER FORGET 5 minutes ago

But North Korea PROMISED Bill Clinton that their nuke program was for peaceful purposes only, no weapons. It was on page 1 of the Washington Post. How could this be possible?
Oh, and yeah . . . they are building a missile that will reach the west coast. Makes you yearn for the great Bill Clinton years. At least it was entertaining in a pathetic sort of way.

This is not surprising at all.

This explains a lot

Especially when viewed in context with Obama’s Iranian Nuclear deal.

With access to a fusion device, uranium enrichment becomes less critical (especially when you can get some from the N Koreans) , but the economic power to build an arsenal of fusion weapons and the ballistic missile delivery systems suddenly becomes paramount.

BTW, most of the nuclear tech controlled in the Obama Iranian Nuclear Agreement was geared to restricting fission weapons, not fusion weapons and all the dual use technology Obama expressly agreed to provide to Iran is ominous in the context of a fusion device.

And the dropping of Iranian sanctions combined with the release of the 150 Billion provides Iran with 150 Billion dollars of economic aid to deploy it's hydrogen bomb tipped ballistic missile arsenal, almost total freedom to buy what it needs on the world market due to the dropping of Iran's nuclear technology embargo, and the economic normalization and lifting of trade sanctions gives the Iranian economy the economic strength to allow Iran to afford to pursue it's nuclear proliferation goals without imploding the up till now on the ropes Iranian economy.

Might as well blame every Democrat since Truman, (who refused to supply Chiang Kai-shek with SURPLUS transport aircraft to carry his troops to fight Mao Tse-tung during his long march.)

I can point to a string of Democrat President caused disasters going all the way back to Andrew Jackson. The general rule is the mess up the lives of millions and make huge messes that the world later has to deal with.
