Cruz has never gone off half cocked in legal matters; he is the master.

Touchy, touchy. A troll? Seriously? Did I mention ANYTHING Cruz said? I mentioned what Hillary's Super PACs are going to do with this issue. And Cruz won't be able to show a Fonzie clip to make it stop. =

Not really, if one reads early Supreme Court statements.

Give it a rest before somebody calls the cookie wagon to take you to the nut farm. :-)

The honest truth of the matter is that both Cruz and Rubio are ineligible to run for President as neither one of them are natural born citizens.

Unfortunately this matter was settled outside the courts in 2008 when both parties wanted to run candidates with eligibility problems. They all got together and agreed to a senate resolution which carried no weight of law that John McCain was a natural born citizen and just ignored Obama’s problem. Nobody really squawked about it except for a few lawsuits which the Supreme Court refused to hear.

So in effect the two political parties have changed the definition of natural born citizen and until or unless the Supreme Court decides to take up the matter its not changing back.

Trump is right when he says Cruz has an eligibility problem and many people know it but its not going to stop Cruz from running for President. Its not going to stop Rubio who is an anchor baby either.

“You know, I like Cruz and will gladly vote for him but assholes like you make me reconsider why I should support a guy with zealots like you supporting him.”

So easy and accurate to just turn this around. It’s laughable someone would post this. Zealots is a very accurate description of many Trump supporters.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I read this - along with other info readily available - as meaning a person who has citizenship at birth is an NBC - and not the same thing as an anchor baby, as no parent is a US citizen by birth with that scenario. I’m aware that there might be a battle that goes to the SC.

But bottom line is, I’ll be voting for Cruz on Super Tuesday with my belief that he is an NBC.

And if Trump pulls it off and is the nominee, I’ll support him in the general.

Yep, and I've mentioned that several times too.

And thank you as well. Though I absolutely don't believe Cruz is an NBC using that term as the Founders understood it, I too will support him in the primary. He is a revolutionary badly needed and I have no qualms assisting him. I just hate to see history rewritten such that anyone and everyone is eligible for POTUS, because that opens the door even wider than Obama needed to slip through. And we've seen the havoc that has wreaked on our nation. With this new contemporary definition of natural born citizen ... who *isn't* eligible to run the country any more? We have the worst Pres__ent in history running the show today; and he's just the warm act for what America's enemies will pay to install if we lower our guard and permit it.
