Jennifer Rubin is the token “house conservative” at the Washington Post. You would never know that she takes any conservative positions; she’s generally there to make it appear that the real conservatives and their supporters are a bunch of devils.

You win the Bingo Award.

Rubin replaced the false-flagging Dave Weigel, who finally unmasked himself in a hate-filled tirade against conservatives, our values and concerns, everything about us, and blew off the WaPo reservation in a cloud of righteous arraunt after blowing smoke up our ass for years as he covered the "conservative beat" for his cynical employers.

Someone took the trouble to profile Rubin's corpus of writing and declared that he had weighed her in at "53% conservative", i.e., if you're a Mittens kind of guy, she's there for you on budget politics and economic issues, but she sleeps at night on the liberal reservation when social issues like BLM and immigration and pushing Americans into a corner and tyrannizing them is the issue of the day.

At least Weigel pretended to be on the job 24/7; he was just lying. Rubin is less vigorous than that.

Rubin's posture is, however, is typical of a lot of East Coast urban RiNO's and neocons who are really 60's liberals who know how to count and who truly, deeply hate Sarah Palin and anyone who resembles her.
