Like a broken clock, Donald Trump is occasionally right. Who knew it would be about the subject of gender politics? Trump looks and sounds like a cave man in a business suit. But he's helped illustrate a Democratic double-standard on sexism.
This latest row started when Trump said Hillary Clinton had been "schlonged" by Barack Obama in 2008 -- schlong is a Yiddish word meaning penis. Clinton replied using a French word, saying that Trump had a "penchant for sexism." Trump then charged the Clintons with sexism in a back and forth that culminated with his assertion to CNN's Chris Cuomo that Bill is "one of the great woman abusers."
Pundits of left and right were suddenly divided. Was Trump articulating conservative bigotry towards successful women?
Or is Bill Clinton fair game?

Being a pervert is the least of Bill CLinton’s malfeasance.
Wow.
Trump has completely redefined politics in this country. NEVER EVER would I believe CNN could post this article. They were Bill’s home team for his entire presidency.
Bill, you’ve been Trumped!
But what do you think of Trump giving 100K to the Clinton Foundation?
Pocket change for Trump as a gesture. When in Rome do as the Romans do, y’all.
He did what he had to do as a business man. Tons of people and corporations give money to both sides to make sure they cover their bets and will find a favorable ear when they need it.
Wasn’t this done back when the Clinton Foundation actually spent some of that money on actual charities ?
Except they never have spent that money the way you describe. And it was well after everyone knew Bill Clinton was a pervert who preyed on women in the workplace and his wife his enabler.
” he’s helped illustrate a Democratic double-standard on sexism. “
It took Trump for CNN to figure this out??!!
Maroons...
Betcha a buck that Billy went berserk when he read this gem from CNN.
“Trump looks and sounds like a cave man in a business suit.”
Would CNN (Communist News Network) ever call Hillary! a Pig in a Pantsuit?
Yeah. I didn’t think so...
Maroons are cookies, no?
The article completely ignores that Hillary actively created and pursued a strategy of discrediting the women who Bill sexually assaulted and raped. She was its architect. She has always been Bill’s enabler. So this isn’t just about bringing up Bill’s sexual assaults in an unfair attempt to tie them to Hillary. She made a decision to actively defend her husband’s political career, as a way to advance herself, by getting down into the gutter to attack relatively powerless women who dared to disclose that Bill sexually harassed them. That is 100% on her.
Okay, just normal crony capitalism. Everyone does it. The leader is always right.
“His misspent youth” ? .............I don’t think the “youth” excuse for a governor and president in his 40’s and 50’s is going to work. You have to read the article to the end to see those words.
noob
8^)
I agree. It was, however, an opinion piece and not a full news article.
LOLOL!!!
Since then, Mrs. Clinton has served as a senator and secretary of state. There is something unkind about making her relive decades-old humiliations forced on her by spousal infidelity.
CNN & Hillary need to put their big girl panties on!
This article completely misses the main point, which is that Hillary Clinton was actively in intimidating and trashing Bill’s female victims.
You can’t go around defending sexual harasser/predators when it serves your political interests and then play the “war on women” card when your interests change.
