Article includes a timeline of Bundy’s problems in Nevada. It does leave out some information but is basically correct.

You might be right. The government wants the land for some reason other than a wildlife refuge.

These goofballs will slink home when they run out of food (or is it snacks?) and/or the authorities cut off water & electric.

Instead of mocking those that actually care about the future of freedom in America, perhaps you could get on the right side and see about helping the supply chain?

At some point, someone has to stand up and make people listen. The government's abuse of property owners everywhere has gone unchecked for too long.

Like your home page says, you should be VERY ANGRY over what has happened to the Hammond family.

The ownership of private property is the foundation of freedom.

Please. Stand down and go home. NOW. Point made. This is not helping us!

What irritates me the most about this is that the Hammonds, who had a legitimate grievance with the Federal Government, have had their cause co-opted by the Bundys, who don't. By staging this protest, Bundy is actually hurting Hammond's cause because the public eye now equates Hammond with the clownish stand-off, when in fact Hammond had nothing to do with it and tried to seek justice in a legitimate way.

Our Federal government is rapacious and the Bundy’s know it first hand.

The Hammonds are victims of the Federal Government - they were charged with arson for a controlled burn on their own property. The Bundys were not victims - they were grazing their cattle on Federal land and not paying the requisite fees. The Bundys were "victims" in the same way that I'd be a "victim" if I were thrown out of a National Park for not paying an admission fee or for poaching.

Yes but these missions probably aren’t being flown from Diego Garcia.

...when in fact Hammond had nothing to do with it and tried to seek justice in a legitimate way

Plus the Hammonds' themselves do not even support the actions of Bundy, etc.

I also have the feeling the feds want this land for some nefarious reason of their own. Maybe there should be some emphasis made by the land owners to band together to hire experts to determine what of value may lie beneath the surface, or even determine if the lay of the land is beneficial in some way for future military installations or something?

The Bundys have felt the heavy hand of the Federal government. Weren’t Bundy kin physically assaulted and cattle destroyed by BLM agents?

If it gets to that it’ll be armored personnel carriers and helicopters against deer rifles.

I’m betting the operators of the APCs would resist those orders—the military is even more tired of Obama than the rest of us.

There is always a command post somewhere coordinating the assualt. No reason for all the Bundyites to get bottled up. No reason why the Bundyites couldn’t field a mobile force operating outside the siege cordon.

But I AM NOT ADVOCATING ANYTHING OF THE SORT.

Unless they are using small tactical ones they are most likely being operated from Nellis. Weather today does not favor drone use.

I’d like to see President Cruz return those lands to the states on January 20, 2017. I’d settle for seeing President Trump do it. Alternatively, we could watch a petty tyrant like Hillary lock more ranchers up in prison and confiscate their land “for the good of the state”.
