When a President simply ignores the Constitution and acts like a dictator, there is no such thing as a lame-duck President any more.
In fact, there is no such thing as a President any more.
There exists, in its place, a dictator.
Why would anyone then leave office voluntarily?

because the GiveObamaPower(GOP) party told him,
over and over and over and over, ... that he can.
More of the problem is the Senate, under Democrat rule and this last year under Republican rule, has delegated much of its power to the Presidency - and in particular since the rise of the Totalitarian the Senate has made themselves nearly or even completely irrelevant to the law making process.
Democrats and their allies in the GOPe do not seem to care who is President or what he does as long as the President does not try to directly take their powers away; they are fine with seeding it, however. Dictatorship by any means is fine with them: communist, fascist, or even Islamist.
Conservatives are a known evil to them - which needs to be stamped out and will be under the ‘proper’ leadership. Obama and VJ have only a few months remaining to prove their mettle or be seen as not the right people for the job.
