I worked the Nevada Mormons in the Romney Campaign-Las Vegas, Bunkerville and Mesquite-personally knocked hundreds of doors. They went with Wayne Root’s choice. Many of them DID NOT go Romney, they went 3rd party. Wayne Root is stumping for Trump.

The reason that the mormons want to go for Rubio is that “The Church” has come out against anyone who wants to shut down immigration, especially Trump. But the same will go for Cruz. The Church has some of their largest growth in membership from Mexico, Central and South American countries; that is why you see temples being built in Barranquilla Colombia, Tijuana Mexico, Concepción Chile, Fortaleza Brazil, Rio de Janeiro Brazil, Trujillo Peru and Arequipa Peru

Assuming that Trump and Cruz are working together, or at least have a nonagression thing going, I have to say that their strategy seems to be working out very well.

Trump is at the forefront, saying what needs to be said and blasting continual holes in the establishment of both parties and getting people riled up and ready to take America back.

Cruz, meanwhile, is playing rear guard, deflecting the establishment cronies and stealing all their oxygen. He doesn’t have to get involved with Hillary just yet; Trump is steamrolling her every day already.

I’m seeing the usual arguments on this thread. Rancor, rage, denial, etc, but I’m going to be honest with what I see. If we’re going to heal this country or even rebuild her after Obama’s work on her, we need both Trump and Cruz... or we need both wings of the voter who are going to be in force this season that each represents. We need both populist and conservative. Without the populist wave that Trump is spearheading, conservatives don’t have enough passion or force to turn this country back. Without the conservative voices, the populist force can easily lose direction and cohesion when passion starts to ebb.
