The truth is Jeb was never a good campaigner. His runs for FL governor were as lackluster and awkward as what we see now. The difference is that then he was buoyed up as the son of a President and the brother of another both of whom were still popular. The Bush brand has tarnished substantially since then and Jeb’s always weak campaign skills, formerly helped by the Bush brand, are now fatally handicapped by it. No one wants what poor salesman Jeb is selling.
