The merchants at the Galleria such as Tiffany’s, Prada, Neiman Marcus, and Abercrombie & Fitch, will lose tons of business and will have to move to other locations in Houston.

As for Whataburger and HEB, both Texas institutions and I really don’t see how they will survive by denying service to Open Carry Texans. They will go out of business too.

Personally, I think that only a small number of folks will open carry — a small enough number that refusing them service will not threaten the success of HEB in the least.

I laughed when I read your post. I seriously doubt that more than 1/10th of 1/10th of 1/10th of the elite female shoppers at Neiman-Marcus would ever have a firearm permit, and even if they did, the likelihood that they would carry a Glock to buy a pair of Tory Burch boots or a bottle of Chanel Allure is laughable.
