I don't know about having this guy within the ranks as a positive for anything other than numbers...this guy has been a long time entrenched Democrat. Purely political expediency it would seem. We're 7 years into Obama now...just now switching because of his policies?

Is this the Rhode Island legislature? If so, I am shocked the Dem’s have only a two vote majority.

Not stated in the headline or the excerpt: this is taking place in Kentucky.

When I saw the town he is representing, I thought it was Rhode Island, but it is Kentucky, so I think they see Dems in KY is like Dems in WV...endangered. In Florida, Dems are around because of cheating...
I would love to see CT lose a few D in 2016...

Where is this? I wish people would not assume we know who a state rep is, however a big shot s/he may be locally, and post the state in the title. Thanks.

Yeah, if we had Real Conservataive Republicans, they would say “thanks, but no thanks” to these opportunistic a$$holes! We truly have a Uniparty today. It’s all about “legislative musical chairs.” These worthless turds put on a good “partisan show” and then go out drinking and screwing together!

The same criticism can be said of every party switcher, the democrats were just as nasty yesterday as today. Whatever. On the brink now!!

Switching just to get re-elected as the Dems fear a Reagan type sweep this year. He’ll be a RINO.

In the whole scheme of things, what difference does it make? The GOPe now are Democrats, so it’ll be business as usual.

What's the relevancy?
There's NO difference between the supposed two partys.
We have a uni-party system busy screwing the taxpayers and serving special interests.
