Really hope they don’t. The assassination of JFK absolutely KILLED any possibility that Barry Goldwater (or any Republican) could have been elected President in 1964. The “memorials” to JFK that were passed in the succeeding Congresses, including the War on Poverty (which, to date, accounts for practically every CENT of the national debt, all while moving the needle of poverty not one whit), and the bumbling that finally lost Viet Nam for America.
And the trade embargo against Cuba, which was kept in place for DECADES as a further “memorial” to JFK.
