Sounds a lot like Cruz’s position. So Cruz and the GOPe’s are in sync
on this issue.

If it comes down to Trump or Cruz, the GOPe’s will support Cruz.

You’re joking right? The GOPe loathes Cruz. Was the lashing of Cruz by GOPe forgotten when he was the ONLY candidate to filibuster every spending measure and unconstitutional peeping into our privacy forgotten already? He is the only one to be called out directly by the monarch trio (McLame/Bohner/Mitch). He took every beating and rose above it all. I think you may want to go back and research on the GOPe disdain for Cruz.

It escapes me how the most conservative of the race is maligned the way Cruz has been.

Trump is the only one with the cojones to take Hillary head on. That’s why he is the only candidate who can beat her in the general election. Cruz would not stand a chance. He thinks he can debate her. He is very naïve.
