Give me a break. Who appointed you the arbiter of piety? You are guilty of the sin of pride at the very least. Ted Cruz doesn't need to prove a thing to you.

And here's a laugh: "Trump doesn't claim to be an evangelical."!

Then what's this? oatmeal? -

"I am an evangelical. I'm a Christian. I'm a Presbyterian," Trump said to an Iowa town hall rally. In contrast, he said that while he personally liked Cruz, "not a lot of evangelicals come out of Cuba, in all fairness." Donald Trump

Why do you ask me such a question? I really don’t care whether Obama was baptized or not. Why would I? I am concerned with the man’s poiitics, not his religion.

Really, where is this coming from?

English not your first language? I never said the Cruz campaign made the Photoshop. I said it was promoting/selling it.

‘Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-Texas) campaign is offering a poster of the 2016 contender shirtless, ripped and showing off several tattoos.

The “Blacklisted & Loving It Poster” promoting “Ted Cruz 2016” goes for $50.00 in the campaign’s online store, which notes that it is “American Made.”’

In Ted Cruz’s book, he mentions the location of the Church he attended. It is real place. I work just 2 blocks from the street he mentions.
I am disturbed that we are arguing over whether either of these men is a true Christian. It is question that lies in the heart of the individual. I will take both of them at their word. Neither has denounced Christ, have they?
I am a Cruz supporter, but the rancor is not vetting, it is just rancor.

I asked you if it is a sin to ask whether a person who says he/she is a Christian has been baptized. From your posts, it appeared you think it is.

One thing to remember is that doing a google search is not going to find anything positive about republicans, especially born-again ones. If you recall, at the beginning of 2015 google agreed with the Obama regime to fact-check and only post what was deemed correct by the Obama regime. You will probably have to search another site for the truth.

I am deeply concerned about those who would take the word of someone like Jim Bakker (really?) as their source of truth about Ted Cruz. Those who listen to TBN for their news are getting distorted news, not to mention biblical teaching. The church today is being deceived and those perpetrating the deception are deceived themselves. I listened to Jacob Prasch last night on youtube, His article on deception in the church is a MUST listen. I pray hat MANY will take the time to listen. If you want to be deceived, God will eventually turn you over to the deception so that you cannot believe that Truth any longer, as He did with Pharaoh, etc. Here is the link.

What is it with this pathological need of Cruz supporters to make everything personal? It’s creepy.

there is no such animal as a true Christian

one either is or is not Christian

I am not that into sin. But I do recognize hypocrisy and false pride when I see it.

So let me make it perfectly clear: I am not an evangelical, I am not born-again, I am not even a Christian. I don’t care if anyone has been baptized or not, and I wouldn’t even consider asking someone this kind of question, any more than I would ask a Jew if he had or had not been circumcised. It’s none of my business - or yours. Such a question is rude, stupid and pointless.

Have I made my position clear enough on this issue?

An article from American Thinker: http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2015/12/how_many_evangelicals_come_from_trump_tower.html

While it doesn’t answer the question, it does raise the obvious question about Donald Trump’s Christian credos.

Actually, I found your persistent, odd and personal questioning of me REALLY creepy. Am I to take it from that that you are a Cruz supporter?

“When Trump is the source of the criticism leveled at Cruz, he is part of the story.”

Very possible a Clintonite, this is Hillary’s style and standard MO..

It’s from Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.

Make people live up to their own standards.

Cruz could flail himself with a cat-o-nine tails, cover himself in ashes and wear a hair shirt and it still wouldn’t be enough proof.

Mr. “I’m more religious than you” would still have “serious” questions.

If you are not a Christian, why are you judging Christians for their beliefs? How do you know what is and isn’t a legitimate question re the Christian faith?

I had the same thought and it pretty much always comes from people without firm standards.

"I am an evangelical. I'm a Christian. I'm a Presbyterian," Trump said to an Iowa town hall rally.

Mr. Valentine, I don't think you get it.

Trump isn't responsible for the things he says. Cruz is. Everybody knows Trump is crazy and off the cuff. He is allowed to say whatever he wants and his sycophants just giggle. Cruz is sober and serious. Every word he says needs to be gone over with a fine tooth comb and if we are left with any questions or doubts he needs to provide proof.

My experience has been the opposite. Trump has been relentlessly criticized for everything he’s ever done or said for six plus months. Same goes for his supporters. We get nonstop attacked, mostly bc we’re supposedly not conservative.

With Cruz, even just asking a question—a mere question—is vile, wrong, evil, traitorous, slanderous, subversive, and most likely indicative of a liberal plant. It’s unbelievable. All a person has to do is not worship at the Cruz altar, and they are Public Enemy Number One.
