Trump also takes the religious vote, Protestant, Catholic, Jewish and Muslin vote in this poll. Trump doesn’t do well with atheists, Cruz tops with atheist support.
Trump tops the minority vote, the women’s vote, the religious vote, conservative vote, Indy vote, Democrat vote, 18 to 34 vote, all age groups except 34 to 49 ( second to Cruz). Trump also wins the white vote, every region except mountain (3 points behind Cruz), and the men’s vote.
Atheists hate him, everyone else loves Trump, :)
Rigged voting machines can overcome any deficit.
I don't mean to go off topic here, but I am an aviation enthusiast. I own 4 hang gliders, an “ultralight” airplane that weighs 250 pounds, a Piper Cherokee general aviation airplane and I live on an airport. Up until now the only aircraft that I had to keep registered with the FAA was the Piper Cherokee.
For Christmas I bought myself one of those little drones with a camera that transmits back to my cell phone. It is a lot of fun. Then I found out that because it is slightly more than 9 ounces that I have to register it with the government. And the regulations say that whenever I want to play with it in my driveway I am suppose to contact air traffic control and every airport within 5 miles of where I am going to be flying it.
The rules on this are written to be broken. It is only for selective enforcement. Air Traffic Control doesn't have the resources to talk to every kid who wants to play with his drone in a local park or in his back yard. I live on an uncontrolled airport... there is no one to call to get permission to fly a drone within 5 miles of here. But I do live next to a nasty, vindictive FAA employee and he would love to use this new rule to harass me and threaten to take away my pilots license. It is just stupid.
Back to Trump... many minorities and especially blacks are very brand conscious. If the brand name is desirable to them they will pay a lot extra for it... think Nike, Cadillac, Rolex, etc... Trump has a lot of brand name recognition for these folks so it does not surprise me a great deal that I have read from several sources now that he is resonating with minorities more than other Republican candidates have. I don't know how you package Hillary to appeal to blacks. Is she going to practice another accent for the campaign trail?
blacks can remember Bill Clinton ended Welfare as we know it, even though he said he was pro black.
I wonder what the black child Clinton sired looks like today, bet he is the spitting image of Bill.
I wonder if Bill did right supporting him, or he forgot to help him after he left washington.

Jack Kemp regularly got that percent and more in his congressional elections. He actually got a majority a couple of times.
Well, I really doubt it’s anywhere near that ‘yuge’ LOL!

It’s probable Trump will get sizable minorities of both groups - especially if Hillary is the Democrat nominee.
That will be the token running mate for her. It will be billed as the total minority package for the first time in history!....Nobody will care.
We are witnessing the death of the GOP as we knew it.
Trump is defining a new platform / template.
That is, until the MSM can destroy it, which we can never underestimate.
To funny! You wanna know how many actual people constitute this 40% of black voters? 4. Not 4,000. Not 400. Not even 40. 4 black voters picked Trump (over the other Republican candidates) in this poll, out of a total of 10 black voters polled. 1 picked Cruz, and the other 5 picked Carson.
Trump has coattails in areas conservatives usually can’t win. We can pick up wins in urban districts. We can also break the power of “community organizers” whose sole reason for their power is to deliver votes to democrats. Community organizers are the GOPe of the black community.
21 minorities choosing Trump does not translate into what you are presuming.
4 blacks, 3 Asians, 14 Hispanics. 29 democrats voted.

They won't, for several reasons. First, blacks voted for Obama in historic numbers. That will not be repeated. Second, the first woman president meme doesn't resonate with them. Feminism itself doesn't resonate as much with them. In their minds they were the slaves, they were actively persecuted under Jim Crow, they were the ones who had to fight for their rights in the civil rights movement. They justifiably don't think a woman who was married to the governor of Arkansas and then President of the United States is some sort of victim that needs "her turn". Finally, they are very aware of the zero sum nature of civil rights and government benefits. It used to be just white/black designations. Then feminists. Then latinos, gays, and now illegal immigrants and transgendered. The are very aware of the shrinking slices of pie in the zero sum game. Things did not get better under Obama. He shrunk the slices further by adding more groups at the trough. When Trump speaks about limiting immigration, he speaks directly to them.
As cynical as it may be, I hope they’re at least generally less interested in the election this time around.
