You won’t find a more consistent and committed conservative than Ted Cruz. Period.

TPP, H1B's and H2B's are NOT Conservative ideas, and Ted Cruz is in favor of all three.

All three, at the expense of American's having American jobs.

Just sayin'........

I was literally cursed at for “trolling” on one of the thousands of pro-Trump ads.

Except for Senator Cotton of Arkansas.

Last I checked, Cruz filed legislation against H1B/H2B’s. At least he course corrected based on his constituency.

You’re still supporting Trump, who funded and/or supported porkulus, the auto bailout, TARP, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-sensible gun control, pro-amnesty (until last year), and every other liberal agenda for the last 30 years. By comparison, Cruz IS a committed conservative. Heck, by Trump’s standards, even Romney would be considered a devout conservative and I hate Romney.

” TPP, H1B’s and H2B’s are NOT Conservative ideas, and Ted Cruz is in favor of all three.

This statement is not entirely accurate. Cruz is not perfect by any means. He did initially support passage of TPA last spring — the bill to give the POTUS the authority to negotiate trade agreements. However, he did NOT, and has NOT EVER come out in favor of TPP. In fact, he (unlike Rubio and Carson BTW) is vehemently opposed to TPP.

As for H1Bs/H2Bs, he did once favor increasing them, but he has come over to the right side on this issue after consulting with Sen. Sessions about all the abuses in the program. He and Sen. Sessions recently introduced legislation to reduce the number of these visas:

We know that Mr. Trump has “evolved” on numerous issues (including his signature immigration plan), as has every other politician. In my view, Cruz is far more consistent than most. And when he does alter his positions, it is always in a more conservative direction, because at his core, he is undeniably a conservative.

Keep pounding sand on that note and you’ll still not move Cruz supporters because they, unlike others, understand what Cruz is doing and why.

All three of those get tangled in peoples minds....and why there’s so much confusion.....Cruz is privy to what we are not....but in the end game he will do what is best for the American people and this nation. That is what he does...that is who he is.

TPP, H1B's and H2B's are NOT Conservative ideas, and Ted Cruz is in favor of all three. All three, at the expense of American's having American jobs.

In fact, they ARE conservative ideas. Fast track has been around since the 70s and H1B's have been around since the 60's Reaqan used fast track, and both were reauthorized in the 94 (Conservative) Congress.

TPP - You probably mean TSA, or Fast Track, which is wholly benign, being nothing more that a structure within which trade agreements are fashioned... All it does is allow the administration and the Congress to interface at the committee level to fashion an agreement that will probably make it through a vote - You've got to be an idiot if you think that takes anything away from 'the American worker'. All it does is expedite the process of forming trade agreements.

TPP is the Trans-Pacific Pact, a trade agreement, which hasn't even been brought to vote yet.

Likewise H1B's - You fail to mention that Cruz supported H1Bs with the contingency that they could only facilitate the hiring of foreign workers if they were paid the going American wage - thus attempting to FIX the only legitimate bitch you have, that H1Bs are being abused. That is not Cruz being *for* the status quo H1B, and thus your statement is wholly disingenuous.

In the mean time, perhaps one should look into Trump's use of H1B foreign workers in his own holdings, and understand the hypocrisy of your position.
