This is how Ted says the Pledge of Allegiance with his hand closest to his heart:

and Obama hugs his crotch:

Why don’t all of us, Trump supporters and Cruz supporters, knock off the name calling and other juvenile antics.

Your buddy Trump wants to ban “assault” rifles too.

From Trump’s own words:

Trump’s book called The America We Deserve, which laid out his positions on a variety of subjects.

Here’s what he wrote about gun control:
It’s often argued that the American murder rate is high because guns are more available here than in other countries. After a tragedy like the massacre at Columbine High School, anyone could feel that it is too easy for Americans to get their hands on weapons. But nobody has a good solution. This is another issue where you see the extremes of the two existing major parties. Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed. The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions. I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I also support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s Internet technology we should be able to tell within seventy-two hours if a potential gun owner has a record.

Trump is for assault weapon ban, waiting period, & background check
“I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun.”

Trump believes that assault weapons should be banned, “who needs them except criminals and police?”

He wants a longer waiting period for hand guns, rifles and shotguns.

Trumpbots wouldn’t know the truth if it hit them between the eyes. As far as track record on fighting for conservative causes is concerned, its not even close. It’s Cruz by a mile. Trump is a lifelong liberal.

” TPP, H1B’s and H2B’s are NOT Conservative ideas, and Ted Cruz is in favor of all three.

All three, at the expense of American’s having American jobs.

Just sayin’........ “

This statement is not entirely accurate. Cruz is not perfect by any means. He did initially support passage of TPA last spring — the bill to give the POTUS the authority to negotiate trade agreements. However, he did NOT, and has NOT EVER come out in favor of TPP. In fact, he (unlike Rubio and Carson BTW) is vehemently opposed to TPP.

As for H1Bs/H2Bs, he did once favor increasing them, but he has come over to the right side on this issue after consulting with Sen. Sessions about all the abuses in the program. He and Sen. Sessions recently introduced legislation to reduce the number of these visas:

We know that Mr. Trump has “evolved” on numerous issues (including his signature immigration plan), as has every other politician. In my view, Cruz is far more consistent than most. And when he does alter his positions, it is always in a more conservative direction, because at his core, he is undeniably a conservative.

-——These Trumophiles are really quite amusing...they ignore or at least refuse to acknowledge Trumps support of Kelo, Single payer health care, Ethanol subsidies, Planned Parenthood, confiscatory taxes on the rich, opposition of Medicare/Social Security reform and multiple documented donations to Democrat campaigns/causes over the years.
also the fact that Trump was praising Romney for his gentle approach to illegal immigrants and badmouthing Republicans for being mean spirited in their approach to illegal immigration a scant 3 years ago.-——
This is what kills me. Nothing about Trump matters. Yet the things Cruz voted against are held against him because of his “poison pill amendments”.

In the past 7 days I’ve had Trump supporters tell me that

1) Conservatism doesn’t exist. (Really)
2) That it might be good if Trump became emperor.
3) That the religion of the president doesn’t matter. (I seem to recall that Obama’s perceived Muslimness matters a lot to Freepers).
4) That all men say their daughters are hot and they would probably date them if they weren’t their fathers.
5) That it’s smart and normal for businessmen to buy politicians, no matter what their politics.
6) That conservatives can’t win national elections.
7) That Republicans have been nominating conservatives for president and it hasn’t worked.
8) Fawning praise of a serial rapist is “being diplomatic.”
9) Conservatism = pragmatism
10) Wages are too high.
11) Wages are too low.

Keep pounding sand on that note and you’ll still not move Cruz supporters because they, unlike others, understand what Cruz is doing and why.

All three of those get tangled in peoples minds....and why there’s so much confusion.....Cruz is privy to what we are not....but in the end game he will do what is best for the American people and this nation. That is what he does...that is who he is.

Trump, like most billionaires, is simply not an American at heart.

He doesn’t see that our guns are the only thing that has kept us from being in the same toilet as europe.
