Well for starters, it's become a "status symbol" amongst on-air personalities to take off two weeks at Christmas.
Additionally, they've made millions selling you books and tea and hats and pens and whatever all year, and that is really draining.
Don't know when this all started but I personally detest the "listeners be damned" attitude.

Now that I’ve heard that it is a JOKE perpetrated by Mark Styen, I’m not concerned at all.

I listened to the last show before Christmas, and he said he would be back on Jan 4. And .. that’s now been confirmed that Rush will be back on 1/4.

So, your assumption of “listeners be damned attitude” is proving to be a very false statement.

Rush has never treated his listeners that way .. and I appreciate all the work he does in order to expose the left .. for my money, he can take as many days as he wants.
