And just where are they going to ship these besieged ISIS fighters to? I have some suggestions.

Is this like a game? Time out...we need to move to a safer space so we can start trying to kill you again.

Loan the Russians 15 or 20 up loaded A-10s as soon as the convoy clears downtown. Follow up with as many D10 Cats on the ground for debris removal.

Hopefully, the Russians will do some ground attack training using the buses as moving targets.

Sounds like the US is on-board with this UN rescue of the terrorists.

Rebels come in, murder kill and rape, then get a free bus ride out of town?

Hope the Russians strap bombs to the buses.

Sounds like a cluster bomb run is in order. Or maybe some white phosphorus.

Seems to me this is a to the death war. No quarter asked, none given.

Fighting for ISIS should be a death penalty. Period. We don’t have to be blood thirsty & cruel butchers as they are, but none should have their lives spared.

It will serve the UN right to have to pay for those exploding buses.

Send in our A-10s and turn the buses and their inhabitants into hamburger.

So killing the enemy is a war crime?

Sounds like a UN-enabled version of Dunkirk. For the enemy.

This is rather common in war. It would have cost a lot for Assad to get rid of the last 2,000 or so, so just send them out and deal with them later and win a major strategic victory.

It looks like the Russian intervention is beginning to turn the tide more decisively.

It worked in Homs a few weeks ago. The Syrian Gov now has control of most of the city and the countryside in that area, that sits across the critical supply route for Damascus.

The Russians are claiming they killed Zahran Alloush, head of the powerful jihadist group Jaysh al-Islam (Army of Islam) in an airstrike this week.

This is/was the guy who put together and was running the coalition of different extremist groups fighting against Syrian gov forces west of Damascus.

Now might be a good time to leave, before the groups all start fighting each other.
