This was pointed out to Rush the other day, he got flustered and responded with a straw man argument that completely failed to address the issue the caller raised.

I've been a true dittohead since the days when he was weekends only, but even I could see his response was totally inadequate. My greatest fear is that the 'true con' in this race is not quite as anti-establishment as he would appear.
