Republican presidential candidate and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee advocates monitoring mosques and says he thinks Barack Obama is more interested in protecting the reputation of Islam than he is in protecting Americans.
"I'm amazed that people think it's inappropriate for there to be some monitoring of things that are being said in mosques anymore than if we had a rash of Presbyterian attackers that were killing people," Huckabee told host Stephen K. Bannon today on Breitbart News Daily.
If recent domestic violence had been committed by "Presbyterians, or Lutherans or Baptists, I'd say we better start checking to see what's being said in the pulpits of Lutheran, Presbyterian, or Baptist churches," added Huckabee.
"We're not talking about infiltrating and spying, we're talking about just monitoring and people act like that's somehow a violation of the First Amendment. The point being, these are public places and if people want to come to my church, they're welcome to do it

Mike, you’re almost there.
Obama is not protecting, he’s enabling.
A lot of small communities in America will get royally sued if this happens, and they’ll lose.
There is always a way not to allow a mosque in the first place, in any town with a zoning code.
Once it’s there it’s too late.
Huck, this is why your campaign is slow out of the gate. One must be more obervant of what is going on. These people have been around for 1400 years they have a bloody history and we should have “done something”about it a long time ago.

There’s the rub. Moderates won’t to any appreciable level and when they whine publicly about `backlash`, I have zero sympathy.
Remaining silent with radicals in your midst, makes you RADICAL.
You want to solve the problem, raise the mosques of the terrorists and arrest those with prior knowledge and have tough sentencing guidelines.
Huck wants to monitor them. Trump wants to CLOSE then.
This - and a 1000 other good reasons - is why Trump is at 30 and 40 percent and the Huckster is at 3 percent.
Every mosque should be searched by the FBI for weapons caches, Mike.
And, promoting.

Huck is no bad guy, but just never saw the man as Presidential material. It now appears he might be *evolving*. Rumors have been heard he was pulling out. They must have been untrue as it seems he is evolving into a modified TRUMP persona. Why would this be if he were pulling out? Sorry, Huck.
