What the heck are you talking about?
He should have had the charges dropped and received an apology from the hospital and doctors, then file a lawsuit against them.
Thank you, post police! I think I got some cheese over here, if you’d like some.
Same thing happened to a friend of mine many years ago. He was an organ donor and his family was convinced that there was no hope for him after just two days. I was the last person to see him before they took him down to harvest his organs. The nurse told me to ignore any movements he made as he was brain dead.
So I take it you haven’t read the stories?
Summary:
37 year old has a stroke and is in the hospital. Drunk father makes a scene and leaves. Mother and brother of the patient have to make some difficult decisions. Drunk father and ex husband of the mother shows back up with a gun. Healthy son manages to get that gun away, but drunk father claims to have a second gun and prevents medical personnel from caring for the ill son while “wanting to have time with [his son]”. SWAT team responds with excessive restraint after a 3 hour standoff.
The delay saved his son’s life. They were about to harvest organs and kill him off. A lot of folks might have a few drinks dealing with that. In the end, the father was right, the son lived and recovered. Do you now see the horror of what almost happened to this man’s son?
Please allow me to be the foreman of this man’s jury. I guarantee he’ll be found “NOT GUILTY” by reason of love for his son.
