December 23rd! Finally picked up our Nativity set last night and Mr S got it put out in the yard! It;s good to see that lots more people in our area are putting up Nativity scenes in their yards!

Good morning! Everybody ready for Christmas? Mrs p6 is off through Monday. We’re getting ready to head out ...shopping! Everything is done but Mrs p6 wants a few last minute things.
I think she missed going out, LOL!
This afternoon it’s kids and cookies.
Thumb is still bad. Having trouble getting the gauze bandage off.
Typing on tablet with left hand only is ...interesting!
I’m DONE! Still have a couple of things to wrap. Did the gift exchange thing at work. Today we are all bringing in a dozen cookies. We’re doing Christmas dinner at my inlaws. MIL is 88. Grandkids won’t do Christmas dinner anywhere else than at grandma’s and grandpas - it’s tradition, you know. So, instead of making it easy and having it here, we have to go there to do all the cooking. They are moving to a condo next year so it’s the last Christmas in their house. Can’t wait until Saturday. I’m sleeping IN!

Mt. Walmart not too busy either last night. I think I’m “done” but we are going to make sugar cookies this afternoon (I’m hoping Mark Steyn is Rushs sub so he’ll keep me company when the family scatters!) Rose was the excellent sub for Hannity yesterday.
P6—maybe it’s time to go to the dr?!?
Sneaks—enjoy that big Christmas get together—ours is going to be Saturday. We have rest of family here Friday and we are going to daughters house on Sat for 2nd Christmas. I’m THRILLED no snow!!!

Indiana Walmart parking lot is packed. Stopped at Wendy’s. Also packed. Not the Burger King though. Wendy’s sign out front says “Happy Birthday Jesus”. People are loving it!
I’ll probably post tomorrow. If I don’t hear from yunz before Christmas, have a merry, fun, family-filled Christmas! I’m looking forward to older grandbaby’s first Christmas where she will have fun opening her presents!
Well...2 kids had sleepover here. HO,HO,HO! Nothing says Christmas like 2 sick kids, coughing, sneezing and complaining. Santa is bringing a gross of Kleenex.

My wife got Grandson small helocopter $20 or so..I saw at checkout getting me one..its a start.....she loves me..not much money this year.

Low key Christmas here—oldest son and two youngest boys, forward to Saturday when we’ll see middle son, our daughter in law, daughter, sil and grand babies. The oldest is three and a half and has been kept busy tracking Santa on daddy’s phone. She’ll be up tomorrow at 5am (I miss those Christmas mornings).
