If gun owning is criminalized there’s going to be a lot more arresters shot arresting than owners shot resisting.
They tax law-abiding citizens to pay for lawbreakers.

Member's of a certain organization that include "JUDGE(s,)" among their membership (That would be the Washington State Bar Association,) and these supposed heavy hitters (that would be LAWYERS) no one thought to file this in a jurisdiction without a dog in this fight.
Well now the pay check(s) will get fat as these supposed heavy hitters, start the appellate process, first the Washington Court of Appeals, (not to worry, they will lose there,) thus the pay check(s) really get FAT NOW, because your at the Washington State Supreme COURT, and then it's a 5-4 decision, they should prevail by the skin of their collective teeth, and have this "LAW" / "TAX" over turned.
Perhaps a challenge from a minority group could prevail on the ground of “disparate impact”?
Poor people are not a protected class but racial groups are.
