National polls this far out, when people are not tuned into the race and focusing on the holidays don't mean much for predicting who will win the primaries. We still have plenty of primary left and as 2008 shows, it's still waaaayyyyy too early to crown a winner.

I'm thinking you meant to say December 2007 but you make a good point. Eight years ago today, nobody gave Obama a chance against Shrillary. Polls had her up by 20 or 30 points. That changed rather quickly after Iowa. Remember how Shrillary was in meltdown mode in New Hampshire, trying desperately to save her campaign?

I would not be surprised at all if Bernie laid a similar shellacking on her this go-around.
