Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz slammed the Washington Post Tuesday for publishing a cartoon appearing to depict his children as monkeys.
Ann Telnaes, a Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist, argued that because the Texas senator had used his children as "political props" in a recent Christmas parody infomercial they were "fair game."

Caroline Cruz is seven-years-old and Catherine Cruz is five-years-old.
Cruz turned to Twitter Tuesday evening to take a jab at the "classy" Post.

Not sure I disagree. I thought the same when he placed his young children in a political commercial where they played integral roles. I’m a Cruz supporter, but he opened the door to this type of lampooning.

Why would he think they were depicting his children. Organ grinders usually have monkeys. Either is does not surprise me that the Washington Compost would think that funny. They whole reporting staff doesn’t have two functioning brain cells between them to rub together. In fact my guess is that their combined brain cells would not even make one functioning brain cell.
I wonder who their parents actually are.

All I can say is that it’s a good thing Democrats’ children are always off limits, because a cruel person could have a field day with Obama’s kids.

“Political props”—For a Republican, this means allowing one’s children to be photographed. This makes them “fair game” to be depicted as monkeys.
Bathhouse Barry and Michael have allowed Malaria and Sharia to be photographed thousands of times, AND used in photo-spreads in magazines, but they are still “off-limits,” politically.
As has been said many times: If liberals didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any standards at all.
