The fight against the Islamic State has found perhaps an unlikely new ally.

In a region that overwhelmingly identifies as Muslim, a small group of Christian, female soldiers has formed to battle ISIS on the Syria-Turkey border.

"The Female Protection Forces of the Land Between Two Rivers" is comprised of roughly 50 Christian women – hairdressers, cultural society workers and mothers back home, according to the UK's Independent – who are taking up arms to protect fellow Christians in the region and stand up to what ISIS propaganda labels a woman's "divinely appointed right" to stay at home.

I much more respect this group of women vs those perpetual victims attending various American universities.

Muzzies believe if they are killed by a woman they won’t get the 72 virgins in the hereafter.

Reminds me of the scene in The Searchers where John Wayne’s character shoots out the Indian’s eyes. “I don’t believe it, but they do!”

An all female unit is not likely to last very long in the field.

They work out just fine, in some cases. Like when they are embedded at a less than 50% ratio with men.

“They shouldn’t, unless there is no alternative.”

Care to explain how to determine when you have run out of alternatives? Those who want women to be disarmed are evil and should be treated as such.
