No, they just disputed the police’s characterization that they hadn’t been cooperating with the police to prevent the violence. They never disputed that the police had contacted them:

‘Jay Patel, operating partner at the Waco franchise, said in a statement on the restaurant’s Facebook page Sunday that “our management team had had ongoing and positive communications with the police.”’

Our restaurant general manager and two franchisee operators spoke with law enforcement officials on several occasions before May 17th. Contrary to what is being widely reported, as best as we can determine at this time, no one from law enforcement ever told them to cancel the Sunday patio reservation.
