Interesting - the Republicans were JUST AS STUPID before the real estate crash in 2008. The writing on the wall was OBVIOUS as loans at 10 times income levels were being made.
But the IDIOT Happy-go-lucky Republicans figured that the good times would NEVER END...so they IGNORED it. They had years to get their hands around the problem before it caused the crashed, but THEY IGNORED IT.
Same here - borrow a Trillion dollars or so per year, bring in a Million terrorists or so per year, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG!

We are in pretty bad shape economically and we getting poised for an economic disaster of epic proportions.
Obama and the Democrats have seriously damaged our economy with total mismanagement of the economy combined with ramming through a disastrous socialist policy program.
Our real unemployment rate is hovering around 21-25 % and most unemployed have run out their 99 weeks of unemployment and have been shifted to Social Security Long Term Disability status despite the fact they are able bodied.
Obama has papered over his failure (or willful destruction) at providing economic recovery by massive, totally unsustainable borrowing and deficit spending.
An astonishing 51% of every dollar the US government is spending is borrowed money to artificially float the economy and lull the American people into a false sense of security.
Obama has been bragging about his healthy economy, but in reality the economy is on life support and the minute we try to roll back our borrowing and get interest rates back to sanity the economy will go into cardiac arrest and flat line.
Everyone wonders what President Obama does every day except golf. We will soon learn that President Obama has spent the last 6 years standing in front of a mirror practicing his excuses and honing his blame game to pin his failures on the Republicans.

All GOPe elected criminals in Congress more than one term are so enamored of power, status and perks (to say nothing of mysterious giant increases in net worth) that they are literally incapable of seeing that "country in crisis," (translation, "government shutdown,") is totally beneficent, compared to giving in totally to the "Total Transformation of the United States of America!"
Muddle class Americans have been listening to Trump for decades now and have not been flocking to ISIS. Is it that there is something deficient in the character of Muslims?
Does that include the hundreds of billions$ in payments to sustain the greatest welfare programs since the "Great Society," MEDICAID and 'permanent disability'?
