I don’t agree. Obama and VJ are fully aware of what the potential results would be.
It’s a win / win for them.
If we give up our weapons - they win.
If we resist, elections are suspended - and they win.

While I can certainly agree with everything you said. My question is, when was the last time that chump in the White Hut, ever worried about violating anything in the Constitution?
if such an order gets issued I suggest we “comply” by bringing our guns to DC to “surrender” them in person.
20-30 million armed, angry citizens walking the streets of DC might get the point across.
If we resist across the nation, insurrection breaks out and every uniformed LEO tasked to enforce confiscation becomes an enemy to every citizen.
Obama cancels national elections by declaring a national state of emergency, and civil war breaks out starting in the halls of Congress and spreading to the office of every governor of the fifty states. Or maybe in the opposite direction.
I don’t think even ValJar & Huma are behind that notion, no matter their countries of origin & the lack of democracy therein.

State police answer to the Governor, County police to the County Manager, and City police to the Mayor. Many states have managed to emasculate the Sheriff function because he does not answer to any of these functionaries. The Governors, Managers, and Mayors hate the idea that they can get the Sheriff to work with them only by having a healthy cooperative relationship with him, rather than absolute power over him like they do with their police employees.
