Can someone refresh my memory?

How did GWB do in the first months of the presidential race?

No way no how do I want to see another Bush in the WH, so it is mostly a curiosity for me.

Sir, you want me to remember back to 1998-99?

I don't even remember what I had for breakfast.

But good question anyway.

And remember, the Republican convention delegates and super delegates are the ones who actually nominate the Republican candidate.

We may get screwed yet.....AGAIN!

Bush Sr was a 1 TERMER.

Does that answer your question.

From what I can remember, George W. Bush took an early lead and pretty much held on to it through the entire primary season in 2000, despite an early win by McCain (New Hampshire, IIRC). I don’t recall the percentages, but Bush was clearly the dominant candidate.
