Fascinating, from the standpoint that the “extremists” in Russia understand the very powerful nature of incorporating “ideas” into public education over and above math & language, etc; and want to get it going.
If anyone would doubt the absolute correctness of this idea, that infecting schools with propaganda works, look at the state of most students in public schools today.
I’m making a pure Machiavellian statement, not a judgement. However, the converse is also true (adding additional verification to the thesis) the *absence* of any moralistic teaching in our schools, indeed the teaching that there should be a full-on destruction of *anything* once considered moral....is also having its effects.
Yes, there is much missing from American public education, Ethical and Moral values, accurate history, logical and critical thinking, philosophy, economics are some.
