The ‘Amish” comment is used to show irony. Would you have used it if the Young Man Murdered defending others was White instead of Black?

I've seen countless threads here on FR polluted with "Amish" comments. Some, even, that did not involve the "Amish" when the truth was known. And you are complaining that I "polluted" one thread? By pointing the pollution out?

Well, in a way one could argue that I’ve given this story more exposure on FR than it would’ve gotten otherwise, but that wasn’t my intention. My intention was to make fun of the over-use of the “Amish” meme. I think I did ok, there . . . but did anything change? Not likely. Don’t care much about that, either.
