Considering what the German government is inflicting on the German people right now, I’d say that reading Mein Kampf will only ignite nationalism and it should.

People in the US tend to forget that the Left-Right paradigm in Europe is Left=Globalism and Right=Nationalism. Socialism in some form is the backdrop for both Left and Right in Europe. This goes back to the beginning of the 20th century.

Thanks to Obama and the Progs of both parties, that has recently become our Left-Right paradigm too (the new “Progs Win!” spending bill passed by the Republican Congress should be your final proof, people). We really need to update our knowledge of reality. Living the 80’s is not working anymore!

Too many of the population believe the negative (lying) propaganda against Israel. Throwing “My Jihad”¹ into that cauldron by the hand of a state-run educational system² even in an annotated form is irresponsible at the least.

1. German Kampf is cognate with Arabic Jihad.
2. Germany’s Basic Law is antagonistic against homeschooling. Article 7 declares state supremacy over the entire educational system in Section 1, completely disallowing prep schools in Section 6 and only permitting private elementary schools on the basis of “a special pedagogic interest” in Section 5.

The Mein Kampf wouldn't ignite German nationalism. Hitler was a disaster for the German people -- at the end of the war, Germans were pushed out of East and Central Europe where they had lived for centuries.

He also tainted German culture -- a land of Beethovan, Brahms, Goethe and Kant is forever bismirched by his actions
