No need to bother ICE, as they are busy passing out ice water to the southern invasion forces.
Perhaps our massively overpaid and over staffed government could look up these lists while registering er, background checking in sales?!
No, that would be doing their jobs, something they never seem to accomplish.
Agreed. No other country in the world allows non citizenships I bet.
>>> A nightmare of civil rights suits would be filed by the ACLU and SPLC in lawfare attempts to bankrupt the retail sellers. <<<
That just might be the goal: cancel the Second Amendment via expensive lawsuits.
Ha! I was making this same point on a thread re: E-Verify (ala it’s not biz. responsibility to ensure ‘legality’, but it IS GOVT’s job to ensure people are in this country legally/lawfully.)
IMO, it just shows (again) ‘educated’ != intelligent. Also, it shows (R) don’t wish for smaller govt, just a slower growth factor. Also 2x, it shows the (R) coming from the same mind-set...govt govt govt.
“Someone please correct me. If Iâm wrong.”
the issue here has nothing to do with firearm licenses. There’s essentially no such thing as a Federal ownership license except for NFA weapons. License requirements vary from state to state. Most states have no licensing requirements at all.
I’m talking about the Form 4473, 1993 Brady Act NCIC-based, National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS)background check a Federally licensed firearms dealer is required to perform prior to transferring (selling) a firearm. Neither the state nor the FedGov are allowed to keep any information about a completed check beyond 24 hours, though the FFL dealer must retain the paper Form 4473.
Even Instacheck is a violation of our God-given rights as recognized in the second amendment. If you shouldn’t be armed, you shouldn’t be running around loose.
So a pi$$ed off wife or girlfriend can accuse you of DV, say she's scared of you, get a restraining order (no PROOF required) and deprive you of the right to self defense? Got it.
Quite a bit more to it than that. In most states there has to a criminal complaint already filed, and the TRO expires when the complaint is adjudicated.
Why are VISA overstays allowed in the first place. Isn’t this against the law? Why didn’t the Bush administration lock this down on 9/12/2001? Why hasn’t any Congressman or president since 911 locked down our borders? The fact that we have ISIS in America is a bunch of idiot, money hungry politicians fault. They all have blood on the arrogant hands.
How about sending the names to ICE for deportation, then they won't be buying guns.
Yes...to everything you said!
