Sharron Angle, who was vilified for running against Harry Reid in 2010 as a Tea Party conservative, is considering a comeback now that Harry Reid, having suffered a political black eye by losing the Senate, is retiring in 2016. The only problem is that she would have to run against the establishment-backed GOP candidate, Joe Heck.
Joe Heck gets an "F" from Conservativereview.com...just like Harry Reid! He voted to fully fund Planned Parenthood's baby chop shops, voted to give Obama fast-track trade authority, voted against killing Obama's illegal amnesty for aliens, and voted to support keeping John Boehner as speaker, and those are just some of his bad votes from this year alone. If elected to the Senate, he would be like Harry Reid with less creepy glasses.

Republicans simultaneously think she would lose in the general election and could be trouble for Heck in the primary.
[Establishment] Republicans do not believe that Angle can beat Heck, who is a major recruiting coup for Republicans in one of the only competitive open-seat elections in 2016. But there are two worries: That she could drag Heck to the right and leave Cortez Masto running room in purple Nevada, and that she could drain Heck's resources before an expensive general election.
Wouldn't that be awful, if Angle dragged a RINO "to the right"? He might be forced to at least rhetorically take conservative positions (which, of course, would be forgotten the minute he's elected).
But the establishment sees it as a liability to even run as a conservative. This is the kind of twisted thinking that is opposed to Sharron Angle and other conservative candidates.

Angle is not the answer. Neither is the other guy, but Angle is a nice woman who is right about a lot of things but who is a terribly weak candidate .
I am of the opinion that she would be better than any Dem and any GOPe supported candidate.
If you live there, support Angle. If she looses, vote for the Democrat dammit. It’s the only way to flush this garbage out of tge Washington sewers. Next time around run Angle. Simple. RINOS do this with us ALL THE TIME.
Reid only beat her due to union thugs being brought in by the busload
Maybe she has learned a great deal in the last 6 years? I spoke personally with her in 2012 and she seemed far more resolute and in focus than she did during her Senate run.
Well, if she’s 180 out from the current senators views, I’d vote for her. Hairy screed and dean heller both voted for the “Ominous Crime Budget” so they’re both garbage now. Well, hairy always has been and I had some (not much) hope that heller might possibly, just maybe, stand up but, alas, no. At least our congress critter voted NO. Thanks for that Mark Amodei. Not sure the reason he voted NO but it was a NO.
If we don’t get rid of the RINO’s we might as well give our regards to the dearly departed GOP and look for a brand new third party because you can’t fix stupid and RINOS are a self induced suicide mission in the long sweep of history.

The problem with me here in Nevada is that they are both politicians.
Don’t know if I got enough years left in me to go through that flush cycle. LOL!
Harry Reid had power cut off to reset voting machines last election. His son was in charge. Reid should be in prison.
Other than Trump, I will not vote for another politician in Nevada. No matter what they say.
but she still has the same physical and charismatic and intellectual deficiencies she’s always had. She’s just not the answer.
The one time I met her and chatted with her, I suddenly understood how she lost to Reid.
LOL, yes, Heller is on my list of people to vote against. I’m pretty sure Amodei is on that list also.
Actually Sharron blew it on the goal line. I was working on her campaign and remember the moment clearly.

Your statement would be accurate if you hadn't felt the need to put ONLY in there...it makes your statement false. Yes, that was a factor, but in that climate, a stronger candidate would have beaten Reid. I wanted her to beat Reid, but still....
She may not be "the answer" but, barring a better candidate, she is a step in the right direction....
Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader
PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....
GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!
Good thing we put them in the house and senate to protect us from this insidious govt over-reach. That ain’t working to well for us. And some people wonder why other people don’t bother to vote. But, every once in a while we accidentally stumble on to a principled person. Purty rare though.
Angle only lost in 2010 because Quisling Reid & his SEIU buddies provided fraud the vote process in Clark County.
So the only logic for posting that to me is to assume A: I would favor a Dem or a GOP e opponent and/ or B: she is the only Nevadan who is not a Dem or an establishment person. Dude, both are just, well, stupid assertions....and without one of those two, your post to me is meaningless....Can't Nevada do better than a Dem, the estabs, or Angle? Don't tell me that.
