Well, one thing that needs to be said is that homos have a good eye for real estate, and any straight that emulates them should make a pile of money.

While that comment does not apply to Chicago (because the white kids never moved out), and I cannot speak for New York or Los Angeles, it is true for Detroit. Lots of metrosexuals heading in. It doesn't bother me, and I still want to move to Detroit myself (because of the urban frontier-thing, and I like to think of myself as a frontiersman). The only thing that will change is that there will be a grocery store when I get there.
