Like I said, You have provided 0 evidence that Cruz will not be able to raise funds for a general election.
Just because you say that the “establishment will not” back Cruz in the general election doesn’t make it so.
Neither does the fact that their are other sources of funding that “take my ball and go home” establishment figures, the scant few that there may be.

Add all these factors together and it becomes clear why establishment Republicans are so concerned, especially in the wake of Trumpâs inflammatory call to ban Muslims from entering the United States. Cruz, meanwhile, has been enjoying a rapid rise in the polls.
âListen, I think both Cruz and Trump would have a similar impact on the party, neither of which would be very good. I am actually more concerned about Cruz than I am about Trump,â said GOP strategist John Feehery, a former senior leadership aide who is a columnist for The Hill.
Feehery added, âI think Cruz has made a reputation of relentless mendacity ... I think heâs a demagogue and I think heâll destroy the party. I think Trump is much more of a blowhard. But thereâs not really a dimeâs worth of difference between Trump and Cruz.â
But you think the establishment is going to hand Cruz hundreds of millions of dollars?
Why?
They are okay with Hillary.
The GOPe in Congress is doing their bidding.
They’d rather keep the GOPe in power and work with Hillary (as they did with Bill Clinton) and let Cruz fail. They’d be happy to do so.
Cruz has the legit conservative credentials and is the best conservative in the race. But politics is a money game. Cruz would be left to die on the vine.
The Uniparty must be preserved at all costs. We need to destroy it and Trump can do that. I think he’s a one-termer and Cruz is a likely VP or Supreme Court pick.
Their are several tea party names on that list. They will get their conservative voters to caucus and primary. They will elect their delegates and be heard at local conventions. They will ensure conservative candidates are available all the way down the ballot. And that is a good thing.
Thank you Ted Cruz
