Perhaps Florida women are more forgiving of being materially deceived by a man.

Remember Bill Clinton? He not only materially deceived them, he sexually abused them. And they still loved him.

“TRUMP will pick up most of the Huckabee, Santorum, Rubio, Carson, Fiorina and Paul voters when they inevitably drop out, just as he did with Walker and Perry”

Naw, I don’t see Trump picking up any significant numbers of any of those candidates. Huck, Carson, and Santo voters are predominantly evangelicals, and they can easily see that Trump is no evangelical. Heck, he won’t even discuss anything to do with the Bible, and all he says is, “hey, I’m Episcopalian!”

How is Trump going to pick up Fiorina voters after sophomorically insulting her appearance and questioning whether she should even be talking in a debate?

Rubio? Rubio is probably Trump’s best chance of stealing voters from, as they are both very hawkish about using military force to go after ISIS.

I think Trump did himself a lot of good with this statement

- December 17, 2015 -
DONALD J. TRUMP STATEMENT ON BUDGET DEAL

(New York, NY) December 17, 2015 “If anyone needed more evidence of why the American people are suffering at the hands of their own government, look no further than the budget deal announced by Speaker Ryan. In order to avoid a government shutdown, a cowardly threat from an incompetent President, the elected Republicans in Congress threw in the towel and showed absolutely no budget discipline.

The American people will have to absorb higher deficits, greater debt, less economic liberty and more corporate welfare. Congress cannot seem to help itself in bending to every whim of special interests. How can they face their constituents when they continue to burden our children and grandchildren with debts they will never be able to repay? Our government is failing us, so we must do something about it. Who knows how bad things will be when the next administration comes in and has to pick up the pieces?

The only special interest not being served by our government is the American people. It is time we imposed budget discipline by holding the line on spending, getting rid of waste, fraud and abuse, and by taking on our debt. To do these things, we need a President who can lead the fight to hold Congress and the rest of government accountable. Together, we can Make America Great Again.

And Cruz supporters should be mad that the GOPe would rather have him. It means they think Ted can be bought by the donors or party bosses. I’m not sure he can’t, so I switched. He is weak on illegal immigration, even after seeing how the people reward a strong conservative approach.

LOL, no sale.

Go Cruz!

they are both very hawkish about using military force to go after ISIS.

And what is this? "We will carpet bomb [ISIS] into oblivion. I don't know if sand can glow in the dark, but we're going to find out," [Ted Cruz]

Great news. If Carson drops out before Florida Ted could take it.

As someone else said, standing next to Trump at the debate made it easy for people to make an A/B comparison.

How very interesting your saying that Goldberg now believes Trump could obliterate Hillary.

I was shocked to hear Mika Brezezinski from Morning Joe say exactly the same thing.

Here is the video!

....”Cruz is surging! Cruz is soaring! (Problem for me is that I don’t credit any of the polls). -:)

That would be me as well though I don’t see it as a problem not giving credit to the Polls....especially when the margins shift like the rolling tides. At best it ‘might’ indicate a trend but no more...there’s really no way they can know what people will do once they vote....

Debates shift as well....as does what the candidates actually are given to speak on....rare they are left to really speak their minds.

Then there’s the media who are the other “players” moving the deck chairs.....they get to choose who they want to give air time and discussion to.

It’s a circus.....three rings and all with various acts playing out now at the expense of the candidates who would otherwise be heard. Given that Trump’s leveraged his hand with the media it’s no wonder they hook up 24/7 it’s a win for him and a win for them in ratings.......the show must go on!

-— No, not a given at all. Certainly not Paul, Carson, or Fiorina voters. In fact, at one time I was pretty sure Trump would get most of Carson’s voters. -—

Red State posted a chart of 1st and 2nd choices combined.

Ted took the lead this month over Trump, 40-39%. His advance corresponds exactly with Carson s decline.

The rest remain flat, including Trump.

555 is not a very large number of people polled. but I’m no expert.

If Trump and Cruz split the vote in Florida the either Bush or Rubio can win....by just a few votes. Folks in Florida better do their homework and follow up on their votes.

Well...that’s the truth and Trump is the ONLY one who can best Hillary in a debate situation!
