Rush Limbaugh: ‘Disband the Republican Party’
The Blaze ^ | 12/18/15 | David Urbinski

Posted on 12/18/2015 8:47:51 AM PST by VinL

Blasting the Republican-led Congress over a $1.1 trillion omnibus bill that, among other things, fully funds Planned Parenthood and has the White House declaring victory yet again on fiscal fronts, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Thursday that the GOP should be disbanded.

"There is no Republican Party!" Limbaugh said. "You know, we don't even need a Republican Party if they're gonna do this. You know, just elect Democrats, disband the Republican Party, and let the Democrats run it, because that's what's happening anyway.”

Limbaugh recounted how American voters "showed up in record numbers" and "defeated Democrats down the ballot" in order to get Republicans to stop runaway spending and President Barack Obama's agenda.

"And now the Republicans have the largest number of seats in the House they’ve had in Congress since the Civil War," he said. "And it hasn't made any difference at all. It is as though Nancy Pelosi is still running the House and Harry Reid is still running the Senate. 'Betrayed' is not even the word here. What has happened here is worse than betrayal. Betrayal is pretty bad, but it’s worse than that."

"This was out andout, in our face lying, from the campaigns to individual statements made about the philosophical approach Republicans had to all this spending," Limbaugh said, adding that it has, in part, led to the rise of leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

"If Donald Trump didn't exist and if the Republican Party actually does want to win someday, they'd have to invent him,” Limbaugh said. "It's just mind boggling when you figure out everything that has been granted Obama. All the money, the tax increases, the Cadillac plans in Obamacare. All kinds of punitive things in Obamacare, delayed yet again so that people will not be made aware of the pain and suffering Obamacare's gonna cause.”

As many of us believe, dismantling the current GOP is (and has always been) the one and only issue in this campaign. If the GOP is not transformed into a limited gov't party, nothing else matters.

No negotiations- the GOP-e must be eradicated.

The GIVE.OBAMA.POWER (GOP) party ruined America
creating EVERY evil, and covering up the rest.

disband the Republican Party

Will not happen.

Where else would the Battered Conservatives Syndrome people go?

==

Conservatives need to realize that THEY are the RINOs. The platform and policies of the GOP turned leftward a long time ago.

Mark Levin keeps calling for a new Republican party. Doh! Somehow he seems to think the Republican party is going to reform from within. It didn't happen with Goldwater. It didn't happen with Reagain. It won't happen regardless of the 2016 nominee.

==

Perhaps the best thing will be the Pubbies losing the Senate in 2016. Then, the next prez -- Dem or Pubbie -- might have a Congress that does gridlock. When gridlock occurs, the people win. When either party holds both chambers, the people lose.

This is the end of the ‘big tent’ party philosophy. A complete lack of discrimination on their part. How else would it end when inviting liberals to infest the party?

re the RINO thing
Ive never understood this. Lets call them for what they are...democrats. See thats no so hard.

RINO-Republican Party is now in the driver’s seat—they must be opposed like the Pro-Slavery Whigs were in the 1850s. A new Party must be formed A) out of the ruines of the GOP or B) replaced with a new Party made from one of the 3rd Parties (Reform or Constitutional or Conservative) or C) A whole new party based on the Tea Party—Liberty Party with a Liberty Bell as the symbol—and an eagle. or D) Bring back the Whigs with their Racoon mascot. This can not stand.

> gave GWB TWO TERMS WITH THE FULL CONGRESS

1-1/2 actually

GWB went along to get along for the most part, because he was fighting two wars.

The rotating presidency acts to convince the voters that, at least occasionally, one of the “good guys” will be in power. This helps maintain a baseline of support for the institutions by convincing out-of-power opponents that they should never really double down on opposition to the government. They might eventually get to run it again.

The totalitarians have always act in a slow, meticulous and relatively controlled path to total tyranny. Generally, the Democrats have act as the accelerator and the GOP has acted as the brake to consolidate gains by the Dems. Even though the GOP has generally been the brake, the direction is the same-tyranny.

The question we really need to ask is it better to fight the beast now or later? Fighting the beast now means abandoning the GOP and allowing the Dems to win which will likely usher in tyranny. However the back-lash might be very positive and worth it. Allowing tyranny to march on in a relatively gradual manner could be the most dangerous option.

This is a very difficult call.

“..GWB went along to get along for the most part, because he was fighting two wars...”

Yes, but he had the bully pulpit and he never really used it against the Rats on other issues. He just did not want to. That is all a matter of history now. And NOW look at what the GOPe is GIVING AWAY to the Rats.

** EVERYTHING THEY WANT **

No fight, no wins, support EVERY major Rat disaster (eg Obamacare). Funding every anti-American, anti-freedom major issue the Rats want. And the Rats are celebrating big time.

conservatives need to leave the republican party and rename themselves. Whether tea party, constitution party, whatever but they need to leave and call themselves something else.

the republican brand has been ruined.

“GWB went along to get along for the most part, because he was fighting two wars.”

That’s bull$hit! The Boosh Family have been globalists forever. GW Booshe’s “prosecution of two wars” was an excuse to work to implement his globalist policies while he pi$$ed away $2 trilllon and caused the deaths of nearly 6,000 of our preciouse young people. He (and his worthless turd father, an dumb brother) need to rot in hell.

That’s why anyone who’s supporting anyone but Trump or Cruz are also “the enemy.” Just look at the vote yesterday, “The Cabana Boy” didn’t even show up! If the nominee isn’t either Trump or Cruz ( and I hope both of them as a team) there isn’t any reason at all to go vote!
