Why the hell would even the left think that a bunch of blue-collar guys in an automobile plant would remotely want to boycott Israel?
Sure, sometimes unions over-reach, and get greedy. But the average rank-and-file union guy is sensible, and not a leftie. He's not a Goldwater-type conservative, more likely he's a JFK-type conservative. Reagan was able to reach those guys. Trump seems to be doing the same thing now. There's a lesson there for the GOP.
